Our courteous and professional instructors
Company Director, Master Instructor
With over 40 years of experience, Keith brings a wealth of knowledge to the dive centre.
A master instructor and technical rebreather diver, he spends his time exploring wrecks and reefs around the world. When he is in Cornwall there is nothing more he enjoys than passing on his knowledge to new and experienced divers.
Company Director, Divemaster
Mike started diving after his son Max insisted they give it a go on holiday. Having fallen for the sport, him and Max went on to complete all of the 18 PADI speciality courses, making Max the youngest master scuba diver in Europe.
10 years on and Mike has a ‘lust for rust’, diving on many of the wrecks on the south coast. Mike is a technical CCR diver and is always keen to deepen his knowledge of the underwater world.
Dive Centre Manager, PADI MSDT
Liz started her diving career in Thailand in 2012. She moved back to the UK in 2017 after working across SE Asia.
She has been managing Cornish Diving Centre since March 2018. You can usually catch her out on our RIB looking for whales, dolphins and sharks! If you’re popping by the shop be sure to bring biscuits.
PADI MSDT and Technical Instructor
Colin started diving in 1993 whilst serving with the military in Germany. He became a PADI instructor in 2013 and a technical instructor in 2015. He has a passion for exploring the mid-range wrecks off of our coastlines and passing on his knowledge to new technical divers as well as diving on new wrecks and exploring our oceans.
Colin is also a Global Underwater Explorer (GUE) trained diver and an active member of the Ghost Fishing UK project team and spends his spare time documenting and lifting discarded nets, pots and marine debris from the seabed.
Divemaster & Videographer
Danielle began diving in 2003 and plunged into a career in Thailand after offering being offered a videography position in 2011. She spent a number of seasons filming everything from squat shrimp to manta rays. After returning to the UK 2014, she has spent time diving in the Cenotes, The Azores and most enjoys having her fins nibbled by inquisitive seals.
She is extremely passionate about Marine Conservation taking part in Seasearch dives and raising money for Marine Conservation Society by doing long distance cycle rides.
Ella started diving in Central America in 2015. Having finished her Zoology degree, she travelled to South East Asia to qualify as an instructor. Since qualifying, she has taught in Malaysian and Indonesian Borneo working for a conservation organisation. As a new member of the team, she is new to British diving, but so far she is loving it.
During a zoology field course in Borneo, Imogen did her advanced course with Liz. Feeling inspired by the world’s fascinating marine life, she travelled to Central America after her degree and qualified as a divemaster in Honduras. Upon returning home, her and liz reconnected, now as colleagues and her new passion for cold water diving is ever growing.
Rescue Diver and Photographer
Shannon moved to Falmouth to study Marine and Natural History Photography. She first started diving with the Cornish Diving Centre in 2017 and is now a valued member of the team. In her spare time, Shannon can be found underwater photographing anything from anemones to cat sharks or volunteering with Seasearch or the RNLI.
