Why take the Deep Diver specialty?
When you dive below 18 metres, there are special safety considerations.
If you're ready to expand your boundaries, our PADI Instructors will help you gain the skills and confidence to explore to a maximum depth of 40 metres.
About the Course
During the PADI® Deep Diver course, you'll learn how to plan deep dives, manage your gas supply and how to identify and manage narcosis.
You'll learn about buddy contact procedures, safety considerations when diving at depth and buoyancy control at depth. You will also progress your depth limit to 40m/130ft.
Our Deep Diver* course includes the eLearning theory, 4 dives plus your equipment rental. Diving in Falmouth Bay.
Course Price: £350.00
Time commitment: 2-3 days
Prerequisites: PADI Adventure Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water, or an equivalent certification from another agency.
Minimum age: 15
What Next?
Why not combine the Deep Diver course with the Enriched Air Diver Course and use Nitrox on your Deep dives.
Deep diving in the UK comes with its challenges, to help make the dives more comfortable a Drysuit Certification, Torch and DSMB will come in handy during those deeper dives.
*This course is weather dependant, the deep dives will be completed in the sea from a boat and sea conditions may vary.
