Who Can Enroll?
If you’re at least 10 years old, in good health, and comfortable in the water, you can begin your journey to becoming a PADI Open Water Diver. No prior scuba experience is required, making this course perfect for beginners.
Course Duration:
The PADI Open Water Diver Course typically takes 3 Days to complete, combining theory, pool sessions, and open water dives.

Quick Course Overview
There are 3 steps you need to complete in order to become a certified diver:
STEP 1: Knowledge development with PADI eLearning this takes roughly 5-10 hours to complete prior to your course start date.
STEP 2: Confined Water Dives in our onsite pool. You will complete a total of 5 Confined sessions over two half days.
STEP 3: Open Water Dives, you will complete 4 Open Water dives over two days learning the basics of scuba diving.

If you answer YES to any of the questions on the PADI Diver Medical, you will need to get a medical physician to sign the form to confirm fitness to dive prior to any in-water activities.
You will not be able to participate in any pool or open water sessions without confirming your fitness to dive.

Course prerequisites: able to swim, medically fit for diving, comfortable in the water
During the Open Water Diver course, your instructor will ask you to:
Float or tread water without aids for 10 minutes
Swim 200 metres/yards with no aids or 300 metres/yards with mask, fins and snorkel
Minimum age: 10
Divers certified between the ages of 10-14 earn a Junior Diver certification
Junior Open Water Divers automatically become Open Water Divers at age 15.
