Why take the Night Diver specialty?

Can Open Water Divers night dive? Yes, but proper training will make your first night dive more enjoyable. You’ll learn how to navigate in the dark, where the most interesting creatures hang out, and gain night diving tips from our instructors.

About the Course

The thought of dipping below the surface at night seems mysterious, yet so alluring. Although you've been scuba diving at a site many times before, at night you drop into a whole new world and watch it come to life under the glow of your dive light.

Our Night Diver course includes the eLearning theory, 3 open water dives plus your equipment rental and rental of a dive light during your course.

Time commitment: 1 afternoon / evening session

Prerequisites: An Open Water Diver certification or proof of an entry-level certification from another agency.

Minimum age: 12

What Next?

If you enjoy night diving you may want to buy your own dive light, these can range anywhere from £50 to £500. View Torches

If you want to take your night diving to the next level why not try using a UV dive light, this will allow you to see the amazing green glow of fluorescent species during your night dives.
